Pops O’Daily
Pops is an author, singer and songwriter. He performs as Pops O'Daily in various and diverse venues from well-known cowboy hangouts to nursing homes, where he sings "cowboy songs to salve the soul." His repertoire includes original songs (words and music) and well known cowboy classics and favorites. His books reflect his knowledge and love of the cowboy's life. He loves to entertain and share his love of genuine cowboy music.
His Story
Pops is a cowboy's cowboy. He was raised in Colorado's ranching country where he learned everything a working cowboy needs to and should know. Pops worked on several ranches, a feedlot, and competed as a Rodeo cowboy. He discovered his love of cowboy-western music at age eight, listening to Chris LeDoux, a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) legend and a major recording star in Nashville. Pops was inspired to be a cowboy music performer by people like Chris LeDoux, Dave Stamey, Ian Tyson, and R. W. Hampton.
A Man of Many Talents
Pops is also an author. He writes modern day cowboy/cowgirl stories of various genres; from mysteries to romance and thrillers, with plenty of drama, action and adventure, where his intimate knowledge of cowboy life unfolds.
